Position Overview
The Director of Next Generation Ministry builds community and systems to evangelize, disciple, and equip youth, young adults, families, and ministry volunteers to grow in Christ and engage in God’s mission in their contexts.

Deep personal relationship with Jesus and regular spiritual practices
Clear sense of calling to expand God’s kingdom
Growth in Christ-like character and emotional/spiritual health (1 Tim 3:1-7; Titus 1:6-9; Gal 5:22-23)
Patience for ministry in a slow fruit-bearing, post-Christian context

Competency
Heart for sharing life and faith with unchurched youth and families
Shepherding through life-on-life and small group discipleship
Partner with Children’s Ministry Coordinator to support parents
Engage youth in mission through service and trips
Strong Bible teaching and communication skills
Proven ability to recruit and develop leaders (Eph 4:12-16)
Self-starter with strong organizational leadership skills
Culturally curious and adaptable to New England context
Creative, resilient, and open to trying new approaches
Optional: Preaching/liturgical leadership opportunities available

Compensation
$19,000–$25,000 annually
Part-time: 15–20 hours/week based on experience and availability
Potential to fundraise for additional support if working more than 20 hours/week
