RISE CULTURE

We live in the story of Jesus

  • Gospel-centered: Rooted in Christ’s finished work (Jn 19:30, Matt 16:18, Heb 12:28)

  • Committed to the authority of Scripture (2 Tim 3:14–17)

We live on mission with Jesus

  • Contextualize the Gospel to our city

  • Create spaces of invitation and hospitality (Jn 1:29-31, 1 Pt 4:8-9)

  • Make disciples who make disciples (Matt 28:18-20, 2 Tim 2:2)

  • Equip saints for ministry (Eph 4:12-16, 1 Cor 12:27-30)

We live into the rhythms of Jesus in community

  • Abide in Christ before producing fruit (Jn 15)

  • Emotionally healthy spirituality (Acts 20:28, Lk 5:31-32, Matt 7:3-5)

  • Seek to understand before being understood (James 1:19-20)

  • Speak to one another, not about each other (Rom 12:10, Matt 18:15-20)

  • Be a grace-filled and truth-speaking community (John 1:14, Eph 3:14-16, 1 Cor 13)
