Celebrating New Life: The Power of Adult Baptism at All Saints Cathedral
A report from the Cathedral team.
There is an indescribable joy that fills a church when a soul comes home. Recently, our Cathedral family was privileged to witness this firsthand as we celebrated the baptisms of four incredible adults. Seeing the Holy Spirit actively drawing people to saving faith is a profound reminder that the Gospel is alive, active, and moving in our community today.
Among those baptized was Trevor, who graciously shared his moving journey from isolation to grace. His story is a beautiful testament to the truth that the Gospel still works.
Trevor’s Testimony: From Darkness to Pure Love
"For twenty-seven years, I did not know the love of Jesus. I struggled deeply with my spirituality, and my life lacked any real sense of purpose. I tried to push through the weight of it all on my own, and honestly, I suffered significantly because of it.
Everything began to change during a recent restoration project at the Parker River National Wildlife Refuge. That is where I met Anna Siebert. She extended a simple, warm invitation for me to attend All Saints, and the very next Sunday, I decided to come.
I remember sitting in the pews feeling as though the sermon was written directly for me. As we worshiped, I felt the Holy Spirit completely flood the room, filling me with a love so pure it's hard to put into words. He showed me the truth, and He truly saved my life.
It is an absolute honor to be baptized here to mark my rebirth and my covenant with God. Today, I proudly declare that Jesus Christ is King of kings and Lord of lords."
Joining Together in Praise
Trevor’s story is just one of four beautiful declarations of faith we witnessed this month. Each baptism represents a unique journey, a broken path restored, and a public declaration of a new life started in Christ.
Please join us in celebrating and praying for Trevor and our three other newly baptized as they step into this vibrant new chapter of their faith walks!
