Redemption in His Torn creation: A Creative Response to God’s Grace

Workshop Description:

Kate and Sean will meditate on God’s promise to his hurting creation:“Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by name, you are mine” (Isaiah 41:1b). Participants will respond creatively – whether in collage, paint, color or otherwise! The session will conclude with a time of voluntary sharing and prayer. *The artwork will be photographed and a copy sent to the maker, however the artwork itself will become a part of a collaborative mosaic.

Two years ago, Sean, Kate, and their two daughters, moved to the North Fork of Long Island to set up Dandelion Ministries - an arts-based ministry dedicated to sharing God's radical grace in Jesus Christ (DandelionMinistries.org). They are both ordained Anglican ministers, Trinity School for Ministry grads, and artists (check out their website for samples). Their vision is to create space to connect with the grace of God – whether in their home or through arts outreach. They planted a church in Pittsburgh, served at the Church of the Holy Cross in Charleston, and are now very grateful to be a part of the ADNE family.
