The Rev. Greg Butler
Elected to the Ecclesiastical Court
Fr. Gregory Butler, his wife Carrie, and three children, Luke, Maddie, and Jacob, reside in Laconia, NH. Fr. Gregory was baptized and raised in the Episcopal Church. He sang in the boys' choir, served as acolyte, and was confirmed at age 14. Gregory attended the University of Rhode Island and earned a dual B.S. in Biology and Secondary Education. Upon graduating from the University of Rhode Island in 2002, he became a certified Secondary Ed teacher. He served as a public school Science teacher and the program and retreat director at New England Keswick, a Christian camp and retreat center in the Berkshires.
In 2012, Fr. Gregory and his family moved to New Hampshire and began serving in full-time youth and adult pastoral ministry. He was licensed and ordained through the International Church of the Foursquare Gospel to serve as the pastor of Grace Capital Church in Laconia. While serving, Fr. Gregory earned a master’s degree in urban ministry leadership from Gordon Conwell Seminary and an M.Div. from Bethel Seminary. Upon completing an M.Div. Fr. Gregory was commissioned as an Army Chaplain within the National Guard. He is currently the Chaplain for the NHARNG 197 Field Artillery Brigade. In 2019, Fr. Gregory returned to his Anglican Roots and joined the ADNE through Incarnation Anglican Church in Manchester, NH. The ADNE ordained Gregory a Deacon in 2020 and a Priest in 2021. He is the Spiritual Life Director for Laconia Christian Academy and a part-time Chaplain for the NHARNG. He and his wife are in the process of planting Restoration Anglican Church through ADNE. Fr. Gregory would be honored to serve on the ADNE Ecclesiastical Court.
