Boston Fellows Accepting New Applicants!
The Boston Fellows, a service organization of the ADNE, is receiving new applications for fall 2020.
This is a nine-month program for professionals in the Boston area seeking to cultivate the insights and spiritual habits necessary for meaningful vocation within a cohort of peers, spiritual leaders, and professional mentors through the local church.
Why? Because our work matters to God.
Whether your career is soaring or stuck in traffic, you need to know deep down what your work is about, beyond a paycheck, a good career move, or even that dream job.
Fellows, professionals in the Boston area, are equipped with the intellectual tools, spiritual habits, professional development, community, and network to work well: to envision and plan for their career with meaning and purpose for the greater good of our Boston workplaces and culture, for Christ and His Kingdom.
Following the prophet’s call to seek the welfare of the city, the Boston Fellows program equips young adults to serve Christ and neighbor in the working world.
It is a nine-month training program delivered through…
Daily practice of personal devotional disciplines.
Weekly church-based roundtable discussions of ancient and modern classics applying Scripture and theology to daily life and work. Fellows read 50 pages of accessible, thoughtful, biblically-informed writing weekly.
A monthly “Teaching Saturday” for greater depth, featuring recognized subject-matter experts.
Three weekend retreats to go deeper still, as a group and individually, hearing from God and enjoying his creation, facilitated by the peerless LaVida Center for Outdoor Recreation and Leadership.
The Boston Fellows are equipped for a lifetime of service in Christ’s kingdom through work, study, worship, and daily life.
